Questions Answered on the Call
* When should I engage the services of an SEC attorney. Does he/she create
the property package that I am going to be using to recruit private
lenders?
* How involved should I be with the property management of my properties ?
I have my first deal under contract. It’s 92 units! I have a couple of 3
families. Should I use a property management company. The property is 100
miles away or bring in an in-house person to keep tabs on the onsite
manager?
* I am getting push back from some of my private investors. I trying to
have some of them fund my apartment purchases. I have used them in my
single family business. What would be a good way to explain the
acquisition fee and then quickly go to a couple of benefits of moving up
to apartments with me. Do you have any lines that you have used? Some were
debt partners.
* I see a recent trend in RE broker’s not listing a Purchase Price but
using “TBD”. Do I put in an offer close to my strike price or should I go
much lower. I do not want to leave money on the table.
* What is a good message to leave with a seller that you have not talk to
